Attention IDL Teachers and Facilitators!!

 

August 11th, 2011 will be an IDL Training for Teachers and Facilitators that work with videoconference classes.

 

Description: This Training is for Teachers and Facilitators that either teach or facilitate high school and college classes over videoconference. It is important that Teachers and Facilitators work together to create a successful "virtual" classroom. Participants will get in-depth training with IDL equipment as well as learn simple troubleshooting techniques. Many attributes of the IDL classroom will be covered such as teaching with 4 and 5 day schools, how to handle homework from a distance, and roles and responsibilities of the teacher, facilitator, and students. During the afternoon, teachers and facilitators from all over Kansas will connect over IDL for presentations and networking opportunities.
